Northside Cycling Club ("NSCC", "we", "us") is an informal cycling community based in Valtellina, Italy. This page explains how we handle information when you visit this website. We keep things simple, because we collect as little as possible.

The short version

This website has no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no analytics. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell anyone's data. The only personal information that reaches us is what you choose to send us through the form on the Join page.

Information we receive

The signup form. If you fill in the form on the Join page, the details you provide (such as your name, email address and your message) are used only to get back to you and to organise rides. We do not share them with third parties for marketing.

Hosting logs. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub may automatically record technical data such as your IP address and browser type to operate and secure the service. This processing is governed by GitHub's own privacy statement, available at github.com.

Fonts. We load typefaces from Google Fonts. When the page loads, your browser requests these files from Google's servers, which may receive your IP address as part of that request. See Google's privacy policy for details.

External links

The site links out to our profiles on Instagram and Strava. Those platforms are run by other companies and have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave this site.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, just contact us at the address below and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If we ever change how this site handles information — for example by adding analytics or a different form provider — we will update this page and the date above.
